The 2026 club volleyball season will be the 21st edition for the Bedford Blizzard Volleyball Club. We are one of the longest tenured clubs in Nova Scotia.

Our club is coming off the most successful season in club history. At the 2025 Nova Scotia Championships all 19 Blizz teams qualified for and played in the Tier 1 division. Our teams won three gold (13U Girls, 15U Girls, 14U Boys), three silver (15U Girls, 17U Girls, 18U Girls) and two bronze (16U Girls, 18U Boys). And two teams placed fourth (15U Boys in 16U Boys and 17U Boys in 18U Boys)

We are always cognizant of our goal to provide the very best experience for our elite and regular club players as well as for the young players in our introductory Atomic program. Our players come from all over Metro and beyond. We take great pride in securing excellent coaches as we know just how important this is for not only success but also for the experience of our players and parents.

The Blizzard club every season attempts to give back to club volleyball by hosting quality exhibition tournaments for every age group that we offer. In the 2025 season we hosted 14 Open tournaments and 4 waves of VNS Super Series. The Volleyball Canada National Championships produce lifelong experiences for players, coaches and parents. Proud that 13 of our 19 teams competed in the 2025 Volleyball Canada Nationals. Our Fall 2025 programs provided development opportunities for club players in every age group in addition to two schools for Setters and one Serve-Pass school.

We hope that our website provides information about our club, our programs and how club volleyball operates in Nova Scotia. Volleyball in our province is growing significantly every year and we are pleased that our club continues to provide more opportunities for players, coaches and parents.

Best wishes to all in pursuit of wonderful experiences in our great game.
Al Scott,
Club Director
